CrossFit = Health

I was lucky enough to attend the CrossFit for Health Summit this past weekend. The highlight for me was sharing our mission for Compete for a Cure with all.

This event served as a powerful platform for collaboration, knowledge exchange, and inspiration, bringing together individuals who share a common passion for health and fitness.

For some, the event weekend started with a workout on Friday as well as a GoRuck ruck run at 430am on Saturday! I was setting up at the Summit and watched everyone come in from the ruck, the energy was incredible to see.

The day featured lecture-style talks from experts as well as two panels. There was a Q&A included with each expert, which was very engaging. Being that I am a previous gym owner and I now attend a CrossFit gym as a member, it was cool to see how engaged everyone was.

While the summit topic was CrossFit = Health the general theme from each expert all ended with the same idea that CrossFit = Connection.

The strong sense of community within CrossFit provides a support system that goes beyond the physical aspect of fitness. The shared challenges and victories create lasting bonds, fostering a sense of belonging and emotional well-being. Knowing that others are counting on you to show up for a workout can be a powerful motivator.

CrossFit stands as a shining example of how a shared commitment to health and fitness can bring people together, creating lasting connections that go far beyond the gym floor. Excited to see what is next for CrossFit Health…. I am here for it!
