How Should My Weightlifting Belt Fit?

How should a weightlifting belt fit you to ensure you are getting maximum benefits from wearing one in the first place?

2POOD Sizing Overview

Like most companies, 2POOD offers unisex sizing so measuring yourself beforehand is a must!

How Should My Belt Fit?

The Ideal Gap

The ideal gap is anywhere from the tips almost touching to about 3" apart.

Too Far

You don't want too far of a gap or you will feel the belt pulling.

Too Close

You don't want too close of a gap or the tips can overlap and cause the belt to pop.

2POOD BELT SIZING CHART

When measuring for this, the easiest way is to use a soft tailors tape around your waist as that's where the belt rests. Make sure to pull the tailors tape tight around your waist. If you are on the edge, we always recommend sizing down. This size guide works for the Straight belt, Metcon belt, and Petite belt.
